Yoga: Sue Hartley runs a yoga class in the village hall on Tuesdays from 7.15pm to 8.15pm and Ann Berry has a Friday session from 10am to 11.15am. Participants are asked to bring a yoga/exercise mat if possible.
Messy Church: There will be a Messy Church in Bradley Methodist Church school room on Sunday from 3pm to 5pm. The theme is Past, Present and Future. Everyone is welcome – the event is free for the whole family and will be followed by a tea of sandwiches and cake.
Women’s Institute: The next meeting of Bradley WI will be held at 7pm on Monday in the village hall when the president will lead a night of poetry extravaganza. Members are asked to bring a poem of their choice.
School news: Pupils enjoyed a visit from a visiting pantomime company, which performed Cinderella – with lots of audience participation. Linton class (Class 4) will be holding a bun sale at 3.30pm on Monday as a group of children have decided they would like to raise money for cancer research.
Fitness classes: Fitness classes are held in the village hall on a Wednesday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm for ladies and from 7.30pm to 8.30pm for men. For more information, send an email to [email protected].
Canal towpath: Work on the canal towpath continues – the three-mile stretch between Bradley and Skipton is being upgraded and will be more accessible for walkers and cyclists. The £450,000 project is the result of a joint working party between the Canal & River Trust and Craven District Council. Funding has come from the Department of Transport as part of the Cycle Ambition grant programme.
