The Greening of Bradley

The greening of Bradley project continues with further flowering cherry trees planted. Thanks to cllr Andy Brown, and the generosity of Twin Locks Nursery we have continued to plant this year. As last year was very dry it’s thanks to John and Fran Lofthouse that last year’s planting survived. The photo below shows the first planting in full blossom. It is intended to plant more in the future.

Damage to Sports Pavilion

In recent weeks there has been damage to the Sports Pavilion, the drain at the back has been blocked with various items, an edging cap has been removed from the gable end and panels removed from the toilet block roof. It is unclear who is responsible though sometimes groups of children gather in the area. This may be thought of as a victimless crime but we are all paying for the repairs through our Council Tax precept.
If you see anyone causing damage in or around the Pavilion/Play ground area, please report it to the Police by ringing 101 or report it online at: https://northyorkshire.police.uk/do-it-online/report-it/
