Public Rights of Way

There has been a rise in walkers straying from the public rights of way on farm land and leaving gates open causing extra work for farmers who have to round up stray animals. Please respect the countryside code. A screenshot of the rights of way around Bradley is below but a more detailed map can be found on the NYCC website at:

Damage to Sports Pavilion

In recent weeks there has been damage to the Sports Pavilion, the drain at the back has been blocked with various items, an edging cap has been removed from the gable end and panels removed from the toilet block roof. It is unclear who is responsible though sometimes groups of children gather in the area. This may be thought of as a victimless crime but we are all paying for the repairs through our Council Tax precept.
If you see anyone causing damage in or around the Pavilion/Play ground area, please report it to the Police by ringing 101 or report it online at: https://northyorkshire.police.uk/do-it-online/report-it/

Damage to fence and grass at the playground.

These pictures show the damage to the grassed area near the playground and the fence. It appears that someone has driven onto the grass and been unable to get off again so they have broken two of the playground fence panels to use as leverage. If anyone knows anything about this please email clerk@parishcouncil.bradleyvillage.org This behaviour will not be tolarated and will be reported to the Police.
