Neighbourhood news May 12th

Film Club: The Film Club will show Jurassic World (12) at 6pm tonight in the school hall. Admission is free.

Bradley Show: There will be a Bradley Show meeting at 7.30pm this evening in the village hall meeting room. If you would like to contribute towards this year’s show, please go along.

Christian Aid: The annual Christian Aid door-to-door collection will take place between May 15 and 22, as part of Christian Aid Week 2016. New collectors are needed and anyone interested should contact Andrew Symonds on 07801 937056.

Methodist Church: A free Messy Church session will be held at Bradley Methodist Church Schoolroom on Sunday, from 3pm to 5pm. For more information, contact 01535 634460. A charity concert is planned for Saturday, June 18, at 7pm. There will be a variety of performers including the local school and members of Skipton Amateur Theatre Society. Tickets will go on sale within the next fortnight at Bradley School and the village shop.

Women’s Institute: The WI will meet on Monday in the village hall, from 7pm, when the Skipton Ukulele Group will entertain with a demonstration and singalong.

Parish Council: The parish council will meet at 7.30pm on Tuesday in the village hall.

Table Tennis: There are table tennis sessions at the village hall from 1.30pm to 3.30pm on a Tuesday and from 1.30pm to 2.30pm on a Friday. For more information, call 01535 630470.

Whist: New members are welcome at the whist group, which meets on a Thursday from 7pm to 10pm in the village hall. For more information, contact juneyousuf@sky.com.

Bradley School: Year ones enjoyed a sports afternoon at Sandylands last week. The school is collecting the Sainsbury’s Active Kids Vouchers. These can be left in the collection box outside the hall.
